speaking of pigs...

it's the year of the pig!
happy chinese new year everyone.

this little piggy is flying

phew, what a day!
i had pottery all day today, and am starting my marvelous piggy bank creation for little elias. so far i have a ball. sort of looks like a bowling ball. i'm still on the hunt for a really good stopper. the money can't fall out the bottom, cause that's no fun.
i sent in my resume for this company back in may or so of last year, and i got a call from them today wanting to talk about my resume. 2 quasi job offers in a week?! i think this city is desperate. the one last week was at ecomarine kayak on granville island, this one would be working out at the airport. i think i'm happy at mec thank you very much.
and some friends of mine are pregant. i have a severe case of nephew-itus, and so i try to make up for it with the help of others, and their pregnancies.

regarding capes

if i were a superhero, i would not have a cape. no way!
have you seen the incredibles? capes can be very dangerous, especially if you don't have much experience with them. they can get caught places and be a large hinderance. so, no cape for me!
besides i don't need a cape to fight off the evil gang of hoola hoops!

i've been forced against my own will to update.
kinda, sorta.
nothing super exciting has happened, that's why i haven't updated.
unless...
you think counting is exciting! we had inventory day at work. i felt like count von count (you know, the sesame street character). needless to say it was boring.
i went cross country skiing. which actaully is exciting, except for all of the times i fell, which was more frustrating.
i managed to fininsh a couple of crossword puzzles in the newspaper all by myself. well, i did have a little help from mr. thesaurus, and mr. crossword dictionary, and me mom.
i got offered a job yesterday. out of the random blue/green. i declined.
that's all i got right now.
